Are you qualified?

Yes, I am an experienced classroom practitioner and tutor delivering online lessons.  I have Qualified Teacher Status and I am also DBS checked. I have held various leadership roles and have a track record of outstanding results.

How will I know what progress my child is making?

I always send out a baseline assessment for your child to complete. This means that I will be able to plan lessons effectively.  Each child has a weekly lesson overview that has a record of what was covered in the lesson, any test scores/feedback and what home learning has been set.

What subjects do you teach?

I teach English Language and English Literature at KS3, iGCSE, GCSE, IB and A level.
I can also support students preparing for their SATs and 11 and 13+ exams.

Do you offer online or face to face?

I offer online lessons via Zoom.  All resources are sent out prior to the lesson.

Do you tutor during the holidays?

Yes, there will always be some slots available during the holidays.

Can I have a fortnightly lesson?

I do have some fortnightly slots available.  Fortnightly sessions only work if your child is motivated and willing to do independent work in the week that they don't have a lesson.

My child has some special needs - how can you help?

I have experience of working with children who have a range of needs and I am therefore able to adapt my teaching and resources to support children of all abilities.

How do I book a class/pay for my tuition?
